{MY ROLE}

For the marketing campaign that year we decided to include a Sweet 16 “overlay” over our existing marketing strategy. This included adding sweet 16 birthday imagery or verbiage in all marketing collateral. As creative director I set the tone for color schemes, fonts, content and key art. That year I created an ornate Gothic gold frame (Using 3DS Max and Photoshop) with cake “worshiping” skeletons to be featured on the key art. Gold was our signature that year, and I even changed the Fright Nights logo, which was typically a dripping red, to a blazing gold.

In addition to creating the haunt posters and key art for the website, I also oversaw and/or created marketing assets and directed the content photo shoots. For the Sweet 16 anniversary I set up two photo shoots with all our monsters in birthday attire: one with all the monsters at a fun, whimsical outdoor birthday party and the other on a theatrical stage with an overtop celebration with fog and confetti canons. Even the most horrible, terrifying monsters deserve a good birthday bash.
